About This Whisky
Hibiki 30 Year blends malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, matured in a mix of American, European and Japanese oak, then married in a single vat before bottling. The Sekai No Owari edition sits within Suntory's themed Hibiki 30 Year releases, with 響30年調和 and 花鳥風月 motifs on the label and presentation, in the house's established 43% ABV bottling strength.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Sandalwood, dried fruit, soft Mizunara incense, honeyed malt and gentle spice.
- Palate: Lustrous and full, with orange peel, polished oak, mature malt and a thread of incense-like Mizunara.
- Finish: Long and warming, with lingering sandalwood and polished oak.
