A magnum of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008 combining two special presentations: the Lady Gaga Limited Edition artwork and the Luminous illuminated label. Inside is the same 2008 rosé as the standard release.
About This Champagne
The 2008 rosé takes its red wine from two Pinot Noir plots, Chants de Linottes in Hautvillers and Vauzelles in Aÿ. It is a slender, perfumed rosé from a cool and acidic year, and it received 97 points from William Kelley in The Wine Advocate. The Lady Gaga rosé series began with the 2006 in 2021 and continued with this vintage in 2022.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Sweet red cherry, raspberry and rose petal, with orange peel and a smoky, flinty note.
- Palate: Deep but not heavy, with red fruit, chalky tension and a fine bead.
- Finish: Energetic and long, with spice and citrus.
Serving & Food
Ice-bucket cold, about 8 to 10°C, and switch on the label just before bringing it out. Pour into white-wine glasses. It will keep for many years in magnum. With it, serve oysters, lobster rolls or crispy Peking duck skin.

About the Maison
Luminous is Dom Pérignon's bottle for night-time service. In place of the usual paper shield, the label is a water-resistant, electroluminescent panel powered by a small battery hidden in the punt, switched on from underneath. On rosé it glows pink, and a charge lasts a few hours. The house leaves the wine alone: dosage, blend and cellar time are identical to the standard vintage. Luminous comes mostly in magnum and jeroboam, sizes aimed at bars and large tables.
