Dom Pérignon 2002 is a declared vintage prestige Champagne from a warm, generous year, offered here in 1.5L magnum for slower evolution and large-format service.
From the Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Moët & Chandon, produced only in declared vintage years from grand and premier cru vineyards across Champagne. The brand takes its name from the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, credited by the maison with refining méthode champenoise at the abbey of Hautvillers in the 17th century; today the cuvée is shaped by successive cellar masters, with Vincent Chaperon currently leading the winemaking team. Dom Pérignon is produced exclusively as a vintage wine (no non-vintage bottling) and aged on the lees for a minimum of seven years before release. The 2002 vintage is one of the most acclaimed warm-year releases from the maison, noted for breadth, generosity and the chalky backbone that allowed long cellaring.
Tasting Profile

- Palate: Creamy and layered, with ripe orchard fruit, pastry notes, mineral freshness and a broad vintage-Champagne shape.
- Finish: Long, poised and saline, with toast, citrus oil and persistent chalky detail.
