Bond Assortment Case 2004 4-Pk OWC 750mL - Empty Wood Case

Bond Assortment Case 2004 4-Pk OWC is the original wooden shipping case supplied by Bond Estate for a four-bottle format of the 2004 vintage. As an empty case it carries no liquid and is sold as a presentation or storage piece for collectors who want to keep a Bond bottling in its original producer case.

From the Producer

Bond is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon project founded by Bill Harlan of Harlan Estate, focused exclusively on single-vineyard, Bordeaux-style wines from carefully selected hillside sites in Oakville and the surrounding hills. Each Bond wine is named after the parcel it comes from — St. Eden, Pluribus, Vecina, Melbury and Quella — and bottled in numbered, producer-issued wooden cases. The original wooden cases (OWCs) were used by the producer to ship the bottled vintage cases from the winery and are recovered for collectors; they bear the Bond marks and case numbers that match the bottles inside.

Best For

Best suited to collectors who want to store or present a 2004 Bond bottling in its producer-issued wooden case, or to gift-givers who use the case as a presentation piece alongside purchased bottles.
